Introduction
This page explains how to ask Pragma Consultancy and Solutions (PRAGMACS) to delete your data. It covers our Meta app, "Pragma Pilot", and the WhatsApp Business messaging service we build for businesses.
It works together with our Privacy Policy. If the two ever differ, the Privacy Policy and the law apply.
Who Can Ask
You can ask for deletion if you are one of these:
- A person who used Facebook Login with our app "Pragma Pilot".
- A business that connected a WhatsApp Business Account to our service.
- A customer of one of those businesses, whose messages pass through our service.
What Data We Hold
If you used Facebook Login
We hold the basic account details Facebook passed to our app when you logged in, and anything you sent us when you contacted us. The Privacy Policy describes the details you give us directly.
If you are a business
We hold the details of your connection to our service and the messaging data we process for you. The Privacy Policy lists this under "Messaging Platform Data".
If you are a customer of a business
Where your messages pass through our service, we process only what a conversation needs:
- Your WhatsApp display name and phone number
- The content of your messages, including media you send
- Order and enquiry details you provide
- Delivery and status information returned by the platform
How to Request Deletion
Send an email to "info@pragmacs.com" with the subject line "Data Deletion Request". Please include:
- Your full name, and the Facebook name you used, if you used Facebook Login
- For a business: the business name and your WhatsApp Business Account (WABA) ID or phone number
- For a customer: the phone number you messaged from, and the business you messaged
- What you want deleted
We may ask you to confirm who you are before we act. This protects your data from someone else asking for it to be deleted.
If you are a customer of a business, that business controls your messaging data. When your request reaches us, we pass it to the business and help them complete it, as our Privacy Policy describes. The 30-day timeline below applies to data we hold for our own service.
What Happens Next
For a business that leaves our service, deletion removes the message queues, stored events, and delivery logs we hold for that business. Delivery logs hold metadata only, such as event types and delivery status, not message text. They are kept for up to 30 days and then deleted.
- We confirm by email that we received your request.
- We verify that the request comes from you.
- We delete the data from our systems within 30 days of a verified request.
- We confirm by email when the deletion is complete.
What We Cannot Delete
We cannot delete data that Meta or WhatsApp holds. Messages sent over WhatsApp are also stored under Meta's own terms and privacy practices. To remove that data, contact Meta directly.
We may keep some records where the law requires it, such as accounting records for a client. The Privacy Policy describes this under "Data Retention".
Remove Our Access
You can also stop our app from receiving new data at any time. This does not delete data we already hold; email us for that.
Remove Pragma Pilot from your Facebook account
Removing the app stops it from receiving new information from your account. Email us as described above to have the data we already hold deleted.
- Open Facebook, then Settings and privacy, then Settings.
- Go to Apps and websites (or Business Integrations).
- Select "Pragma Pilot" and choose Remove.
Disconnect us from your WhatsApp Business Account
Menu names in Meta's tools can change. If you cannot find these options, email us and we will help.
- Open Meta Business Suite and go to Business settings.
- Go to Accounts, then WhatsApp accounts, and select your account.
- Remove "Pragma Pilot" (or PRAGMACS) from the partners or apps with access to the account.
